Dead and Company was formed in 2016 out of the ashes of the Grateful Dead and is comprised of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir on guitar and Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann on drums as well as Oteil Burbridge on bass, Jeff Chimenti on keyboards and John Mayer on guitar. The band tours extensively and picks its songs from the great canon of Grateful Dead materials currently afloat in the universe.
