Nels Cline

Nels Cline is a jazz guitarist who has gained fame through his role as lead guitarist in the alt-country powerhouse Wilco. He first exploded on the jazz scene in the eighties — often playing in tandem with his twin brother, the drummer Alex Cline — and has worked with a wide range of seminal musicians including Mike Watt, Thurston Moore, John Medeski among others. Recent tours with Julian Lage and Scott Amendola have received rave reviews.
