Formed in 1983 in Burlington, Vermont, Phish has grown into an American phenomenon in the wake of the death of Jerry Garcia and the break-up of the Grateful Dead. Phish is known for its extended jams and improvisation as well as a dedicated fan base that is known to tour across the country with the band. Band members include: Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman and Page McConnell.
