The New Mastersounds is a four-piece jazz/funk/fusion band from Leeds, England. Their music sounds more akin to New Orleans (The Meters) than British bands. Band members include: Eddie Roberts on guitar, Simon Allen on drums, Pete Shand on bass and Joe Tatton on keyboards. Past members include: Rob Lavers, Bob Birch, Malcolm Strachan, Jason Rae, Atholl Ransome, Jim Corry, Cleve Freckleton and Sulene Fleming.
